Community Social Engagement Team Lead | Busselton | Full-Time: 8am - 4pm

About the Role
As the Social and Community Engagement Team Leader, you will lead the development, delivery and continuous improvement of community-based social engagement programs that enhance social connection, wellbeing, independence and quality of life for older Australians. The role provides leadership and support to the Community Social Engagement Team, ensuring services are person-centred, outcomes-focused and aligned with organisational strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
* Lead the design, implementation and evaluation of social engagement programs that improve wellbeing, participation and independence.
* Identify emerging community needs and develop innovative programs and activities to address service gaps.
* Develop annual program plans and activity schedules aligned with strategic objectives.
* Provide leadership, supervision and support to Community Social Engagement staff and volunteers.
* Foster a positive, collaborative and client-focused team culture.
* Develop and maintain strong partnerships with local community groups, health services, businesses, volunteer organisations and local government.
* Identify opportunities to expand community participation and strengthen social inclusion initiatives.
* Promote awareness of available programs and services within the community.
* Identify and engage clients who may be socially isolated or at risk of loneliness.
* Ensure programs are tailored to individual goals, preferences and strengths.
* Monitor participation, wellbeing and client outcomes using appropriate reporting tools.
* Monitor resource utilisation and identify opportunities for efficiency and sustainability.
Qualifications
* Certificate IV, Diploma or tertiary qualification in Community Services, Aged Care, Health, Social Sciences or a related discipline.
* Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003 Provide First Aid).
* Minimum full C-Class Driver's license.
* LR Driver's License or willingness to obtain.
* National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain.
