Overview
Liverpool City Council is seeking Diploma Trained Early Childhood Educators to join our team and support the Early Childhood Teacher in designing, implementing, and evaluating high-quality, inquiry-based educational curriculums for children in our services. We are a not-for-profit organisation that values children, community, and a positive, inclusive, collaborative workplace culture. This is a 3 x permanent, full-time position (38 hours per week) with a salary range of $64,584.53 to $69,917.94 and 12% superannuation. Location: Warwick Farm, Holsworthy & Hinchinbrook.
Eligibility includes being an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident for permanent positions and meeting working with children check and police check requirements.
Responsibilities
* Support the development of curriculum and learning environments in collaboration with an experienced Early Childhood Teacher and the teaching team.
* Establish and nurture relationships that promote curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning.
* Implement high-quality, inquiry-based educational practices aligned with Early Childhood Regulations.
* Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture.
Qualifications
* Diploma of Children's Services.
* ACECQA-approved child protection training.
* First aid certificate (essential).
* Detailed knowledge of child development, contemporary early childhood theories/approaches, and Early Childhood Regulations.

Other requirements
* Working with Children Check required; not eligible if prohibited.
* National Police Check and potential pre-employment medical as part of recruitment.
