Your New Role
Reporting to the Youth Club Manager, you will be one of our many valuable Youth Support Workers who work in close consultation with youth and community to provide individualised one-on-one support and assistance to young people who need additional or specialised help. You provide information, advice and referrals to service the young person needs when appropriate (e.g referrals for; drug or alcohol, mental health, housing, legal, education, domestic and family violence services). We’re committed to fostering a supportive, respectful, and positive atmosphere where everyone is welcome. About You
Minimum Certificate IV in youth work, community development/welfare, human services or related discipline or equivalent to 3 years experience in the social and community sector
Experience in undertaking youth related activities
Hold a current drivers' licence or a light rigid driver’s licence, and a Restricted Drivers' Authority (or ability to obtain)
Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate (or able to obtain).
