SPG Drainage and Civil Pty Ltd is seeking experienced MC Drivers to join our team in Karratha, WA. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy vehicles to support our heavy haulage, logistics and civil construction projects in the region. About the role
* Karratha Drivers - 3/1 and 2/1 FIFO rosters or residential roles available.
* Transport general freight & machinery throughout the Pilbara.
* 2/1 FIFO roster available for mining camp based road train operators.
* Operating double and triple road train combinations.
* Operating triple/quad side tipper combinations.
* Operating 50T floats.
* A wide range of work in the Pilbara region with exposure to different project sites.
* Perform pre‐trip and post‐trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness.
* Manage fatigue, maintain accurate records of driving activities, including logbooks.
* Adhere to all relevant road transport regulations and company policies.
* Assist with general site and yard duties as required.
What we're looking for
* Valid MC driver's licence with a strong driving record.
* At least 2 years' experience operating heavy vehicles in a civil construction or road transport environment.
* Experience in load restraint.
* Experience with triple/quad side tippers – highly desirable.
* MSIC card – highly desirable.
* White card – highly desirable.
* Knowledge of road transport regulations and safety procedures.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication and problem‐solving skills.
* A proactive approach to tasks and ability to interact with customers.
* Proven culture of safety, understanding hazard identification and risk assessment process.
