Board Member - Treasurer (Volunteer Position)
What you’ll be doing:
* Monitor the organisation’s financial performance and sustainability
* Review financial reports, budgets and forecasts
* Provide financial reporting and guidance to the Board
* Ensure appropriate financial systems, controls and risk management processes are in place
* Support compliance with statutory and regulatory financial requirements
* Work closely with management and external accountants/auditors as required
* Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making
Commitment: Regular – more than 6 months
Type of work: Accounting & Finance, Governance, Boards & Committees
Time required: Board meetings held every 2nd Tuesday of the month, 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm
