Technical Solutions Professional
As a seasoned technical expert, you will deliver exceptional support for the development and implementation of complex products/applications/solutions. You will leverage your in-depth technical expertise to address customers' technical needs and drive successful business outcomes.
* Utilize extensive product knowledge to provide expert technical guidance to sales staff and customers through presentations and demonstrations
* Collaborate with sales staff to assess potential applications of our products and prepare detailed specifications
* Develop comprehensive design and implementation plans for complex products/applications/solutions
* Create custom applications based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility
* Provide consultation services to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation.
Key Responsibilities
* Design tailored storage solutions to meet unique customer challenges
* Effectively communicate the benefits of our storage solutions through presentations, discussions, and demonstrations
* Design and architect on-premise or hybrid storage systems (with knowledge of NAS, SAN and Object Storage)
* Develop storage infrastructure and data management solutions for enterprise applications, including cloud-based environments
* Provide in-depth insights into the storage and data management vendor ecosystem, with prior experience in backup solutions
* Create ROI/TCO analyses and highlight competitive advantages of solution offerings
* Collaborate with client executives and partner sales teams to develop customer opportunities related to storage solutions
* Advise on engagement and utilization of broader technical resources
* Offer expert technical guidance on our storage products and solutions
Requirements
* At least 8 years of experience and expertise in technical specifications on storage products and services
* Experience working with telecom customers/service providers is essential
* Prior experience as Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Solutions Engineering on storage technologies
* Operate as Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) and have ability to influence Sales teams, driving initiatives and acting as Decision-maker on Projects
* Experience or knowledge of EMC, HDS, HPE, IBM, VMware or PureStorage
* Prior knowledge in Cloud, Storage, AI/ML, Database, Microservice, Enterprise Application or DevOps is advantageous
* Interest in Docker/Container & Kubernetes (K8S) platform
* Interest in hybrid multi-cloud technologies, AI Platform
