About Pacific Lutheran OSHC
Pacific Lutheran College's Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service caters for children from Prep to 13 years, providing Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care programs. Based onsite at the College, our service provides care that exceeds the National Standards.
We offer quality care and a wide variety of stimulating experiences to support children's learning and development. We are committed to providing children with rich learning opportunities in a safe, secure, and engaging environment, while aspiring to deliver the highest standards of care.
Our curriculum of play and leisure is intentional, supporting children through rich conversations, shared experiences, and social connections both inside and outside of the College community. With a strong, consistent team, we are now seeking a passionate and skilled Educational Leader who will continue to strengthen our service and community.
About the Role
This is a part-time position, offering:
* Up to 30 hours per week during term time
* Up to 37 hours per week during vacation care
As the Educational Leader, you will:
* Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of high-quality educational programs that reflect the My Time, Our Place framework and National Quality Standards.
* Mentor, guide, and inspire the OSHC team to deliver engaging and inclusive experiences.
* Provide strong role modelling in building nurturing relationships with children and families.
* Ensure compliance with all legislative, regulatory, and College requirements.
* Play an active role in supporting children's emotional, social, and cognitive development through a balance of structured and play-based experiences.
What We're Looking For
1. Qualifications: Certificate III, Diploma, or Bachelor in Children's Services, Early Childhood, Education, or a related field (as recognised by ACECQA). Those currently studying towards a qualification are encouraged to apply.
2. Required Training: Current (or willingness to obtain) First Aid and CPR certification.
3. Experience: Previous experience in OSHC or similar child-focused roles, with sound knowledge of the NQF.
