Kanda is seeking an experienced Employment Relations Partner to deliver trusted IR/ER advice and empower leaders to effectively manage and develop high-performing teams. Based in Adelaide, this full-time role will see you lead complex employee relations matters end-to-end, build strong stakeholder partnerships, and provide practical, solutions-focused guidance that supports both people and business outcomes while ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert guidance on employment law, industrial instruments, workplace policies, and best practice ER approaches
* Partner with leaders to proactively manage and resolve a broad range of employee relations matters
* Lead end-to-end case management across performance, misconduct, grievances, investigations, and other complex ER issues
* Support the development of policies, compliance initiatives, and ER capability-building through coaching and training
* Build strong stakeholder relationships and contribute to a positive workplace culture and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
* Demonstrated experience in ER, People & Culture or similar role (ideally within the community services sector)
* Hold a Diploma or higher level qualification in Human Resource Management (or similar)
* Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and modern awards (SCHADS, Clerks, Nursing desirable)
* Strong capability in workplace investigations, critical analysis, and delivering practical, compliant ER solutions
* Experience managing Fair Work conciliations/hearings and engaging with unions and employee representatives
* High attention to detail, strong administrative capability, and confidence using Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms
