About Animal Care Attendant
Animal care attendants play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and welfare management for animals in shelters and rehabilitation sites. We are seeking dedicated individuals who are passionate about animals and ready to make a difference.
Responsibilities Include:
• Delivering animal care in accordance with RSPCA NSW Shelter Standards,
• Maintaining cleanliness and disease control of all animal areas,
• Ensuring welfare through daily interaction, exercise, and enrichment,
• Administering food, grooming, and veterinary support for animals,
• Assisting with behaviour modification, adoption, and public education,
Requirements Include:A qualification in Animal Care or related discipline, minimum 6 months animal handling experience, strong communication and teamwork skills, physical fitness, and emotional resilience.
