About the Role
As a Patient Coordinator, you'll be the vital link between our patients and clinical team—ensuring every visit is smooth, welcoming, and efficient. From managing appointments and handling correspondence to creating a calm and polished front‐of‐house experience, you'll play a central role in the day‐to‐day flow of the clinic.
This is more than a reception role—it's about being the face and voice of a patient journey that reflects trust, care, and clinical excellence.
What You'll Do
* Greet patients with professionalism, warmth, and discretion
* Manage appointment bookings via phone, email, and online platforms
* Process billing, Medicare claims, and EFTPOS transactions
* Maintain patient records with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality
* Liaise clearly and effectively between patients and clinicians
* Ensure clinic rooms and admin spaces are clean, organised, and fully stocked
* Support clinical staff with light room preparation and documentation tasks
About You
You're a natural communicator and team player who thrives in a fast‐paced, professional environment. You take initiative, love systems, and understand the importance of every interaction in a healthcare setting.
Candidates must be Australian permanent residents or citizens to be eligible for this position.
You'll Have
* A patient‐focused, empathetic approach with strong interpersonal skills
* Excellent communication skills across all mediums
* Very good English (both written and spoken); excellent grammar is absolutely essential
* A high level of organization, attention to detail, and follow‐through
* The ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
* A polished, professional appearance and attitude
* Confidence using Microsoft Office, email, and web‐based software
* Experience in a medical or skin/aesthetic clinic is highly desirable

Hours are Tuesday - Thursday 11am-7pm, Friday 11am-5pm, Saturday 8.30am-3.30pm

Founded by Medical Director Dr Sarah Boxley in 2014 as The Skin Clinic Fremantle, offering both skin cancer and aesthetics, subsequent growth led to the separation of these services and the birth of SkinBox in 2021.
