The Role
Warrikal is on the hunt for experienced MC Drivers to join our Procurement, Asset & Logistics Team based in Newman. Key Responsibilities
* Operating MC trucks, trailers and heavy vehicles
* Transporting freight, equipment and site materials safely
* Loading and transferring 20ft and 40ft containers
* Completing transport paperwork and journey records
* Maintaining vehicles and equipment to a high standard
* Working closely with logistics and operational teams
* Following strict safety and environmental procedures
* Communicate with supervisors, team members and stakeholders to coordinate schedules, address concerns and ensure operations are conducted efficiently
* Aim for continuous improvement by collaborating with required stakeholders and teams
* Comply with safety and environmental standards and regulations including spills
* Adhere to all relevant road safety regulations in line our vehicle safety policies
* Report incidents, accidents, or near misses in line with safety policies and procedures
* Prepare delivery receipts and other relevant documentation when required
About You
* Full Australian Working Rights
* Construction White Card
* Australian Drivers Licence (C Class)
* MC Driver License and Heavy Vehicle accreditation
* Vehicle Loading Crane Ticket
* Experience driving heavy vehicles and multi combination vehicles, trailer, and trucks
* Previous experience operating a side loader or swing-lift to load and transfer with 20ft and 40ft containers to trailers
* Strong communication skills, work ethic and a positive attitude
