Full time, temporary vacancy – 6‐month fixed term with possibility of extension or permanency. Salary: $124,673 – $137,399 (Level 6), Public Sector CSA Agreement 2024.
Overview
The Training Development Support and Compliance (TDSC) Directorate facilitates the development and maintenance of products, resources and quality assurance systems to support high‐quality training outcomes. The position designs and manages a range of skills recognition processes for staff and volunteers, and participates in training and assessment support services, quality assurance, and continuous improvement activities within the DFES Registered Training Organisation.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop and implement skills recognition processes aligned to DFES training standards.
* Manage and support staff and volunteer training and assessment, ensuring compliance with RTO requirements.
* Participate in quality assurance, continuous improvement activities and governance of eLearning systems.
* Maintain the agency's status as a nationally recognised Registered Training Organisation.
* Provide leadership and demonstrate relevant Personal Leadership behaviours.
Qualifications & Experience
A Certificate IV or higher in Training and Assessment or an equivalent adult learning qualification.
Evidence of experience in training and assessment, product development or quality assurance within a RTO environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
