Job Description
As a Director of Extensive Livestock and Pastures, you will lead the establishment, co-investment, and completion of research and development initiatives that align with the NSW DPIRD Strategic Plan. This pivotal role integrates leadership with strategic policy input and advice to ensure that research and development in extensive livestock and pastures is both targeted and evidence-based.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the successful establishment, co-investment, and completion of research and development initiatives
* Lead the Extensive Livestock and Pastures Branch, ensuring alignment with government priorities and industry needs
* Prioritize and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and research partners
* Negotiate projects and secure funding to enhance contract management and project quality
* Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations while promoting an equitable, diverse, and inclusive working environment
