About company/role:
* Pharmaceutical company
* Based in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne
* Seeking a QC Technician to join the Raw Materials Sampling team
* Working within a warehouse environment
* 6‐month casual contract, potential to be ongoing
* Fulltime hours, normal business hours
Reporting to the QC Team Leader, duties include:
* Receipt of incoming goods
* Aseptic sampling of raw materials
* Use of tools to ensure correct sampling
* Manual handling, lifting up to 25kg and use of electronic pallet jack
* Check delivery dockets and labels to ensure correct batch numbers, expiry dates and quantity
* Release of raw materials in warehouse
* Follow GMP standards and correct SOPs
* General housekeeping
About you:
* Prior experience in sampling and/or inspection of incoming goods
* Prior experience in a GMP regulated warehousing or manufacturing environment
* Ability to lift up to 25kg
* Tertiary education in Science is advantageous (not required)
* High attention to detail and able to work independently
* Quick learner and high initiative
