About The Role
We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) to join our tight-knit rural team at Scone Health Service.
As the CNE, you will be the driving force behind professional growth and excellence in nursing practice.
You will support, develop, and inspire a team of dedicated Registered Nurses, Endorsed Enrolled Nurses, and Assistants in Nursing across acute, aged care, and emergency settings.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role where no two days are the same – from bedside teaching and simulation sessions to mentoring staff and leading continuous quality improvement.
What You'll Be Doing
Delivering education, training, and clinical support to build staff confidence and capability.
Leading practical teaching sessions, competency assessments, and ALS/DET training.
Supporting excellence in patient safety, clinical standards, and evidence-based care.
Fostering a positive learning culture where growth and teamwork thrive.
About You
You are an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for education and empowering others.
You thrive in a team environment, communicate with confidence, and bring an adaptable, hands-on approach to clinical teaching.
You'll Bring
AHPRA registration and relevant postgraduate qualification or clinical educator experience.
Strong emergency and acute care skills (ALS and cannulation competence).
The ability to lead, inspire, and develop others through education and mentorship.
