About the Role:
We are currently seeking Boom Gate Operators / Traffic Controllers to join our team at a leading mine site located in Dysart, QLD. This is a great opportunity for candidates with strong site access control, traffic management, and security experience looking for consistent work on a reputable site.
This position operates on a
7/7 roster
, with alternating
day and night shifts
.
Roster & Hours:
7/7 Roster (DIDO)
$45 per hour + super
12.5 hour shifts
Day Shift:
5:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Night Shift:
5:00 PM – 5:30 AM
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates
must hold all of the following:
Coal Board Medical
Standard 11 Induction
Certificate II in Security Operations
HLTPAT005 – Collect Specimens for Drugs of Abuse (specimen collection)
Key Responsibilities:
Operate boom gates and control site access in accordance with safety protocols
Conduct traffic control duties to ensure safe movement of vehicles and personnel
Perform drug and alcohol testing in line with site requirements
Maintain accurate site access logs and incident reports
Ensure a high level of safety, vigilance, and communication at all times
