Responsibilities
1. Accurately execute key month-end close and consolidation procedures to ensure timely and accurate Group financial reporting.
2. Assist in preparing half-yearly and full-year consolidated financial statements.
3. Research and document complex accounting issues for the Group's position.
4. Monitor and interpret changes in accounting standards, maintaining Group-wide financial policies.
5. Provide advice on accounting implications of business transactions to internal stakeholders.
6. Drive process improvements and efficiencies in financial planning and reporting, liaising with external auditors.
Requirements
* CA/CPA qualified with post-qualification experience in a similar role.
* Solid knowledge of accounting standards, reporting, and governance for large ASX-listed companies.
* Proven understanding of financial closing, consolidation, and reporting processes.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly explain complex accounting topics.
* Proficiency in Excel, with experience in ERP systems highly regarded.
