Responsibilities
Yara Pilbara are building a talent pool for upcoming E&I; Technician roles (Monday to Friday work pattern), across our ammonia and TAN plants. If you meet the key criteria below, Yara may be in touch if a suitable opportunity arises.
E&I; Technicians at Yara Pilbara typically :
- Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on electrical and instrumentation equipment
- Diagnose faults and conduct troubleshooting on complex systems, working closely with reliability engineers
- Accurately document work in SAP, including time, technical feedback, and job progress
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and environmental standards
- Support team capability by mentoring apprentices and collaborating across teams

Profile
What do Yara typically look for?
- WA-recognised electrical trade qualifications
- Certificate IV in Instrumentation or equivalent trade qualification
- EEHA and High Voltage Switching certifications
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar industry (petrochemical, gas, or oil refining)
- SAP and Microsoft Office skills (preferred)
- Strong understanding of industry standards, safety and environmental practices
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Australian or Recent Zealand citizenship or permanent residency
