About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in the Rehabilitation and Stroke Unit, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive, patient-centred care to individuals recovering from stroke and other neurological conditions. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support patients' rehabilitation goals, promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life.
Your responsibilities will include assessing and monitoring patient health, implementing individualized care plans, and providing education and support to patients and their families throughout the recovery journey. This role requires clinical expertise, compassion, and strong communication skills to effectively manage complex care needs in a dynamic, supportive environment.
You will have the opportunity to contribute to best-practice rehabilitation initiatives, participate in ongoing professional development, and help shape positive health outcomes within the community.
About You
You hold current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, bringing solid nursing skills and knowledge relevant to outpatient and/or acute hospital settings. Your clinical expertise is demonstrated through effective problem-solving abilities, ensuring the best possible patient care outcomes.
You communicate confidently and clearly, utilizing information technology alongside strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to support collaborative and patient-centred care. You are adept at planning and coordinating patient care within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring care is outcome-focused and well-organised.
Flexible and committed, you are ready to participate in a seven-day rotating roster that includes night duties and public holidays, supporting continuous care delivery in a dynamic healthcare environment.
