Our client based in the Pilbara seeks a Maintenance Supervisor in Port Hedland. Ongoing work is on offer. Locals to Port Hedland are encouraged to apply. We will also consider a FIFO roster on an 8 & 6 or a 9 & 5 shift schedule.
Accommodation and messing are supplied at a camp in Port Hedland.
About The Role
- Supervise the daily maintenance of production mining equipment.
- Lead and support a team of capable mechanics and contractors.
- Plan, schedule and execute preventative and breakdown maintenance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement timely repairs.
- Oversee parts inventory, procurement and workshop processes.
- Ensure full compliance with WHS and site safety requirements.
- Work closely with site leadership to meet KPIs.
About you
- Proven experience supervising a workshop/maintenance team on a mine site.
- Cert III Mobile Plant Technology Trade qualification (preferred).
- Must have Schedule 26 (Statutory Supervisor Course).
- National Police Clearance and White Card required.
- Solid understanding of mobile plant maintenance and planning.
- Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safety, reliability and continuous improvement.
