We're seeking an experienced Drill Fitter – Exploration to join our team. This role is suited to someone who knows drill rigs and associated equipment, works well in the field, and brings a strong commitment to quality workmanship, safety, and reliability.
Responsibilities
* Maintenance, diagnostics and repair of exploration drill rigs and support equipment
* Breakdown response and fault finding in field environments
* Planned maintenance and component replacement
* Hydraulic, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
* Working closely with drilling crews and site personnel
* Completing service reports and maintenance documentation
* Maintaining high safety and housekeeping standards

What we're looking for
* Australian recognised Heavy Diesel Trade Qualification
* Previous experience working on exploration drill rigs
* Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
* Experience with hydraulic systems and drilling equipment
* Strong commitment to safety and working efficiently in field-based environments
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Reliable attitude and commitment to high work standards
