Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with hands-on experience in designing and developing microservices architectures on AWS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable, efficient, and secure cloud-native applications, leveraging AWS services and best practices. Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications using Java and frameworks such as Spring Boot.
* Deploy, manage, and optimize microservices on AWS cloud platform, utilizing services like ECS, EKS, Lambda, and API Gateway.
* Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with other services and third-party APIs.
* Build scalable and fault-tolerant solutions following cloud-native principles.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
* Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of the applications.
* Use CI/CD tools and pipelines to automate deployment and testing processes.
* Conduct code reviews, write unit/integration tests, and ensure code quality.
* Monitor and troubleshoot cloud applications, leveraging AWS CloudWatch and other observability tools.
Must-Have Skills
* Proven experience in Java development and building microservices architecture.
* Hands-on experience deploying and managing microservices on AWS (ECS, EKS, Lambda).
* Strong understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
* Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
* Familiarity with AWS DevOps tools such as CloudFormation, CodePipeline, and CodeDeploy.
* Experience with version control systems like Git.
* Good understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Nice-to-Have
* Experience with serverless architectures and AWS services like SQS, SNS, DynamoDB.
* Knowledge of CI/CD automation using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
* Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
* Familiarity with other programming languages and frameworks.
