As a Business Tax Manager, you'll play a vital role in delivering complex corporate tax compliance and consulting solutions, working with clients across industries including financial services, technology, manufacturing, consumer, and retail.
What you'll do:
* Work with clients across a wide range of industries through all stages of their business lifecycle, including growth and succession/exit, developing solutions for complex problems at each stage.
* Provide complex corporate tax compliance and consulting advice, including domestic tax issues such as consolidation and restructuring.
* Support and contribute to M&A transactions and ATO engagements.
* Analyse complex financial data and tax issues, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
* Manage client relationships and expectations, delivering a high standard of client engagement.
* Mentor junior onshore staff and invest in their career development.
* Build on existing skills and knowledge through participation in both formal and informal training programs.
What we're looking for:
* Qualification in accounting and financial statements (CA or CPA is advantageous).
* Experience in tax compliance and advisory for private businesses.
* Ability to analyse complex financial data and tax issues, with experience in tax filings and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
* Proficiency in digital tools and platforms used in tax preparation and financial reporting.
* Strong client engagement skills with the ability to manage client needs and expectations.
