About the role
Commencing in January 2026, You will be responsible for assisting the General Manager’s Unit in achieving its objectives and actions within the Delivery and Operational Plan and to assist with the effective and efficient management of Council’s property asset portfolio, leases and licensing.
About you
The successful candidate will have:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Property, Real Estate, Valuation, Land Economics or related disciplines.
- Experience in property management and asset management, including the ability to manage a property portfolio, or a related field including preparation and management of leases/licences.
- Experience in asset management and strong analytical skills with the ability to produce transparent, evidence-based reports.
- Knowledge and experience in interpreting and understanding legal documents such as contracts, leases, licences and land title and subdivision details.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and negotiating skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Council property responsibilities under legislation such as the Local Government Act 1993, the Crown Lands Act 1989 and the Roads Act 1993.

Salary range:
$1840.00 per week (+ super) to $2130.60 per week (+ super) dependent on the skills, qualifications and relevant experience of the suitable candidate.
