Aviation Ground Services Professional
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Part-Time Aviation Ground Services Professional. As a key member of our ground handling team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our airport services.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading ULDs (Unit Load Devices), loading and unloading aircraft cargo, baggage management, assisting with the movement of Ground Services Equipment, and other related duties. You will work closely with our team to achieve required timely aircraft scheduled departures.
* Loading and unloading of ULDs
* Loading and unloading aircraft Cargo
* Baggage management - lifting baggage with a maximum weight of 32 kg per piece
* Assisting with the movement of Ground Services Equipment e.g. aircraft stairs, mobile conveyors, tugs, belt loaders etc.
* Assist with safe and timely Aircraft push back and towing activities, driving and operating diverse Pushback tractors both conventional and Tow-bar-less types
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* A full Victorian Driver's License (mandatory)
* Be available for shift-work across a 24/7 roster including mornings, evenings and weekends
* Willing to complete a full pre-employment medical/Drug and Alcohol testing along with a satisfactory security clearance
