Diesel Fitter/Maintenance Supervisor Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter/Maintenance Supervisor to join our team as a Site Representative at Curragh Mine.
* Ensure planned servicing and repair maintenance is done with minimal downtime and within cost requirements.
* Work closely with the client to ensure our fleet is prioritised and maintained appropriately.
* Monitor and oversee day-to-day maintenance requirements for the fleet.
* Collaborate with the internal team at the workshop if additional assistance is required.
* Provide regular updates to management on the fleet and any repairs or maintenance requirements.
Responsibilities
* Maintain and repair heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
* Conduct diagnostic tests to identify equipment issues and implement repairs.
* Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
* Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimise downtime and reduce costs.
Requirements
* Trade qualified with post-trade experience in the mining industry (Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter or Plant Mechanic).
* Current Coal Board Medical & Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain).
* Current Queensland driver licence.
* The ability to work closely with a client and influence them for a good outcome for both parties.
