**About the Role**
- Gain experience in the delivery of building surveying and inspection processes in a council environment including the preparation of reports, inspecting and reporting on non-conforming buildings
- Act as a support to the delivery of service improvements with direction provided by the Municipal Building Surveyor and Building Services Lead
- Provide customer service, administrative, and clerical support in the professional operation of the Building Services Unit
- Ensure accurate and up to date records, reporting and advice are provided to the public, and Council staff.
**Skills & Experience**
- Basic skills in managing time and effort
- Intermediate level computer proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to learn how to understand and interpret building plans, and documents.
