Opportunity
As a Manager of the Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing (PRIS) team you will lead the team across compliance activities for the business. You will undertake assurance activities to identify and prevent any potential risk of data breach and make recommendations for policy and procedural changes to ensure ongoing compliance with the Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing (PRIS) Act 2024. You are responsible for leading a significant cultural shift to ensure stronger privacy practices are embedded into day‐to‐day processes.
Responsibilities
* Lead the implementation and ongoing management of the PRIS Operating Model, embedding privacy and responsible information sharing principles across Communities.
* Identify, develop and implement business improvement activities resulting from compliance assessment, data matching and analysis.
* Maintain and provide effective leadership to staff and build a culture of collaboration, customer service and performance.
* Prepare and present performance metrics including compliance KPIs and dashboards for internal and external reporting mechanisms.
* Ensure statutory notifications to the Information Commissioner and State Chief Data Officer are completed within legislated timeframes.
* Represent the Division on internal and external committees and working parties, and represent the Department at various Agency, community and State forums to deliver organisation and divisional outcomes.
