About the Role
Barminco is seeking an experienced and motivated Auto Electrician Supervisor for the Bellevue Gold Project. This full-time position follows an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth and is essential to safe, productive and efficient underground mining operations.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* Supervise underground mobile equipment servicing and electrical maintenance activities, ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with site service schedules and company procedures.
* Lead compliance with HS&E requirements, pre‐start inspections, SWICs, and equipment maintenance standards to achieve safe operational performance underground.
* Coordinate fault reporting, repair scheduling, and spare parts requirements with maintenance supervisors to minimise equipment downtime and improve workshop productivity.
* Oversee servicing and repair of light vehicles, mobile machinery, and air‐conditioning systems while ensuring accurate completion of service documentation and maintenance records.
* Maintain high workshop housekeeping standards and ensure all tools and equipment remain serviceable, safe, and compliant with underground mining standards.
Ideal Candidate Background
* Demonstrated strong leadership aligned with company values, supporting team performance, operational reliability, and continuous improvement in underground maintenance operations.
* Current WA Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor training and certificate completed.
* Trade qualified Auto Electrician with relevant Australian recognised certification.
* Previous underground mining experience working on light vehicles and heavy mobile equipment.
* Strong diagnostic and fault‐finding skills across electrical, air‐conditioning, and mobile plant systems.
* Sound knowledge of WA mining safety standards, HS&E procedures, pre‐start inspections, and SWIC requirements.
