A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to work remotely on large-scale developments across the Sydney region.
The Role
* Lead mechanical / HVAC-R design and review for commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects.
* Manage concept design, technical reviews, specifications, coordination, and construction support.
* Conduct regular site visits across Sydney for inspections and coordination.
* Work independently, managing your own workload, deliverables, and client communication.
* Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers across disciplines.
* Ensure compliance with NCC, BCA, and relevant Australian Standards.
About You
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
* 6+ years’ experience in building services, ideally within the Sydney market.
* Strong technical understanding of HVAC, hydronic, ventilation, and control systems.
* Proven ability to manage mechanical design packages independently.
* Confident working remotely with excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Able to attend site visits as required across Sydney.
