What You'll Be Doing
* Provide secretarial and administrative services to the Department.
* Assist the team in clinical roles, e.g. scheduling appointments, transcription typing of clinical letters, answering and responding to telephone enquiries, managing referrals, processing invoices, bulk billing, updating and maintaining patient information via databases, coordinating clinics through the patient scheduling system, and organising patient files required for the medical teams.
* Enter health roster data and create rosters through the roster demand template for department staff members.
* Exercise initiative in applying established day-to-day work practices and procedures, prioritising workload and ensuring tasks are met within a timely manner.

Qualifications
* Demonstrated administration experience within a medical environment.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, with internal and external stakeholders.
* Proficient (approx. 60 wpm) and accurate typing skills with experience of transcription equipment.
* Ability to learn or relevant experience with navigating various databases and scheduling systems.
* Knowledge and experience of the Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Word, Outlook, Excel.
* Ability to organise work and complete tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
