Provide high-level advice, analysis, and evidence-based solutions to the Under Treasurer, Treasurer, Cabinet, and key stakeholders regarding complex policy and fiscal issues.
Influence policy agendas and drive sector-wide initiatives that align with government priorities.
Collaborative Partnerships & Advocacy
* Partner with government departments, agencies, industry, and the community to foster continuous improvement, innovation, and change.
* Represent Treasury in complex, sensitive negotiations and manage influential networks.

What experience you will bring: Policy Leadership & Strategic Acumen
* A proven record of achievement in developing and implementing complex economic and public policy frameworks, backed by high-level political acumen.
* Strong ability to collaborate and influence, ensuring a strategic lens is brought to decision‐making across government.
Executive Leadership & Change Management
* A record of success as an inspiring leader within a large, complex organisation.
* A proven track record as an agile agent of change who fosters innovation and team capability.
Personal Attributes
* Outstanding judgement, high-level integrity, ethics, and probity.
* Excellence in communication, a strong achievement orientation, and agility to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
* Significant leadership experience across the public, private, and/or not‐for‐profit sectors.
Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications needed for this role, relevant qualifications will be highly regarded.
