About the Role
* We are seeking a highly motivated Product Manager - Food & Nutrition to lead and grow the food and nutrition portfolio from the ground up.
* This is a strategic and hands-on role that will focus on developing supplier relationships, identifying market opportunities, and building strong connections across the food, beverage, and nutrition industries.
* The ideal candidate will bring both commercial acumen and technical knowledge, along with established networks in the sector, to drive growth and position the business as a trusted partner in the market.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute product strategies for the food and nutrition portfolio.
* Identify new suppliers, products, and opportunities for market entry and growth.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers.
* Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
* Drive business development initiatives to expand the customer base.
* Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical support, product training, and market insights.
* Manage product lifecycle including pricing, positioning, and promotional activities.
* Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
* Work closely with internal teams (sales, supply chain, marketing, finance) to ensure product success.
About You
* 5+ years' experience in product management, business development, or sales within food, nutrition, or specialty ingredients.
* Strong industry connections with food, beverage, and nutrition manufacturers across ANZ.
* Proven track record of building and growing product portfolios and business lines.
* Commercially driven with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
* Technical knowledge of food ingredients, nutrition, or related sectors highly desirable.
* Self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, or Business (preferred).
