About the role
We are seeking an experienced Driver to join our Canberra operations. This is a hands‐on, operational role supporting the safe and professional delivery and installation of high‐value freight.
Key responsibilities include
* Sorting, loading, and securing freight in specialised vehicles
* Completing deliveries and pickups across Canberra and surrounding areas
* Delivery and installation of high‐value goods including, but not limited to, high‐end Medical, Print & I.T Equipment
* Ensuring correct packing and load restraint in line with safety and CoR requirements
* Scanning freight using COPE's track and trace system
* Liaising with customers and internal teams to ensure successful delivery outcomes
* Working independently as a sole driver or as part of a delivery team when required
What you will bring to this role
* Good geographical knowledge of Canberra and surrounding suburbs
* A current Medium Rigid (MR) licence or higher
* A strong commitment to safety and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance
* Experience in transport, removals or sensitive freight is helpful
* Forklift, white card or working‐at‐heights licences are desired but not essential
* Self‐motivation, reliability and good physical fitness
* Sound judgement and a professional approach to customer service
