Key Responsibilities
* Assess claims through on-site visits using company processes, systems and technology
* Manage a portfolio of claims from initial notification through to settlement
* Investigate the cause and extent of loss, ensuring a thorough and efficient approach
* Determine policy coverage in line with terms and conditions
* Deliver high-quality loss adjusting services in line with client expectations
* Provide proactive, clear communication to clients and stakeholders on findings and next steps
* Accurately calculate repair and/or replacement costs and set reserves
* Appoint and collaborate with external professionals, suppliers and service providers
* Ensure all claims are managed in line with SLAs and KPIs
* Adhere to contractual, statutory and General Insurance Code of Practice requirements
* Maintain consistent, timely and accurate communication with all stakeholders
About You
* Previous experience in loss adjusting or property claims, ideally across areas such as Commercial, Liability, Construction & Engineering, Strata and/or complex losses
* Relevant industry qualification (e.g. ANZIIF or equivalent)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce detailed reports
* Comfortable using claims management systems and relevant technologies
* Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
* Highly organised with strong time management skills
* Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
* Current and valid driver's licence
