What you'll be doing

The vision for South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) is 'exceptional care, healthier lives'. This role is responsible for providing services for the management of telecommunications, paging and switchboard to the Randwick Campus and Sydney/Sydney Eye Hospitals and to all other health services across the northern sector of SESLHD. This position is also responsible for working collaboratively with the SESLHD Southern Sector Telecommunications Service to ensure the provision of consistent, district-wide support across all services.

Selection Criteria

* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business Administration or relevant work experience or a combination of study and work experience.
* Demonstrated knowledge and appreciation of the processes of telecommunication and/or switchboard services.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in performing a range of management and administrative tasks within allocated timeframe.
* Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with key stakeholders.
* Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare briefings, reports etc in specialised area.
* Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adapt work practices to meet current and emerging business needs.
* Demonstrated ability to determine priorities for others and delegate tasks to achieve work objectives.
* Willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position.
