Job Title: Maintenance Fitter
Job Description:
Maintenance fitters are essential to the smooth operation of any facility. Our client is seeking a skilled maintenance fitter to join their team and support site operations through high-quality maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Respond to unplanned maintenance requests and execute scheduled maintenance tasks
* Perform maintenance activities in line with engineering standards
* Liaise with suppliers to source parts and recommend cost-effective solutions
* Supervise contractors when required and ensure tasks are completed to standard
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
* A trade certificate in mechanical fitting
* Pneumatics and hydraulics experience (certification desirable)
* Experience with industrial conveyor and bagging equipment (desirable)
* Familiarity with safety and quality control practices
* Basic computer literacy; SAP experience desirable
* A current driver's license and HRWL Forklift license
