Our clinic in Miranda is currently seeking a Chief MIT to join the team.
The role is a full-time 12 month parental leave position, reporting to the Regional Manager and Area Chief MIT, working Monday to Friday, between 8am-5pm. There are occasional Saturday shifts in x-ray and non-contrast CT between 8am – 1pm.
Our busy Miranda clinic provides the following modalities: X-Ray, Mammography, OPG, BMD, CT, MRI, PET, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound.
Role Overview
* Ensure outstanding service delivery and provide supervision of the day-to-day management and operations of the clinic.
* Perform routine and specialised medical imaging procedures to the highest professional standards as required.
* Drive staff engagement initiatives, fostering a positive workplace culture and promoting collaboration, motivation, and retention.
* Encourage the growth and development of new graduates and university students.
* Work closely with senior staff to plan and manage the daily workforce requirements, working with the modality leads and office manager.
* Provide quality improvement initiatives, and review and refine work practices to improve clinical and financial outcomes.
* Establish and maintain strong, cooperative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including referrers.
What we're looking for
* Current AHPRA and EPA Radiation Licence.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
* Proven leadership experience as a Chief MIT or 2IC in a medium to large size clinic is ideal.
* Strong work ethic and commitment to the culture and values of I-MED Radiology Network.
