**About the role**
Council is currently seeking an enthusiastic & friendly library professional to join their passionate library team servicing local residents within the City of Canada Bay local government area.
Using your outstanding customer service skills you will be responsible for providing advice and assistance to customers, ensuring enquiries are effectively addressed and any problems resolved. You will provide high quality customer service to ensure community members' library needs are effectively and efficiently addressed.
**About the person**
With your demonstrated people skills you will supervise and monitor rostered staff involved in the provision of lending and information services as well as oversee and prioritise the workflow to ensure effective utilisation of resources.
To be successful in this position you will require a TAFE Diploma of Library and Information Services (or equivalent), as well as demonstrated supervisory experience and demonstrated experience in providing circulation and information services in public libraries. The ability to work evening and weekend work is essential. With well-developed communication and interpersonal skills you will also demonstrate commitment to quality customer service in a busy library environment.
