About the Role
Working closely with business areas and senior stakeholders, you will provide high-level HR advice and support across a broad range of workforce matters while contributing to a positive and high-performing workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing end-to-end recruitment, selection, onboarding, and induction processes
* Providing trusted HR advice on performance management, employee relations, and HR policy matters
* Supporting the development and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and workforce initiatives
* Partnering with managers and employees to provide practical and policy-aligned HR guidance
* Managing sensitive and complex HR matters with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgement
* Supporting WHS initiatives and broader people and culture priorities
* Preparing HR documentation, reports, briefs, and correspondence for stakeholders and leadership teams
Qualifications
* Previous APS HR experience at APS6 level or equivalent
* Strong knowledge of APS HR frameworks, policies, and legislation
* Experience across recruitment, employee relations, performance development, and HR case management
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities
* A collaborative approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
High levels of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when managing sensitive matter.
