About the Position
The La Trobe Rural Health School is the largest rural health school in Australia, operating across Bendigo, Mildura, Shepparton, Albury‐Wodonga, Singapore and online. The school delivers a broad range of programs including dentistry, oral health, nursing, midwifery, paramedicine, pharmacy, biomedical sciences, and allied health disciplines, with a strong commitment to rural and regional health outcomes.
A Level B Teaching and Research academic contributes to high‐quality teaching, engages in scholarship and research relevant to biomedical sciences, and participates in academic service and administration appropriate to the discipline and level.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to high‐quality teaching; develop and coordinate curriculum across face‐to‐face, hybrid and online modes; engage in biomedical science scholarship and research; and undertake academic service and administrative responsibilities commensurate with the level.
Qualifications & Experience
* PhD degree or equivalent accreditation recognised by the university or biomedical science profession.
* Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching, curriculum development and subject coordination in face‐to‐face, hybrid and/or online modes, evidenced by sustained high results on student feedback or teaching excellence awards.
* Evidence of high‐quality or high‐impact biomedical research conducted and published, relative to opportunity.
* Demonstrated commitment to rural health and/or regional science education, including an understanding of workforce, industry or community needs and trends.
