About the role
Supervisor – Star Graze - Bar and Gaming. The role can be offered in a full-time or part-time engagement and plays an essential part in ensuring the highest quality customer services are provided to all guests and members of our club.
What you'll be doing
* Deliver exceptional customer care at every touch point
* Lead a small team of staff and oversee daily tasks to ensure smooth operations
* Operate point-of-sale system and handle reporting responsibilities
* Assist patrons with gaming enquiries and membership transactions
* Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report faults
* Monitor gaming areas to ensure safe and compliant patron behaviour
* Maintain a clean, organised and safe gaming, bar, dining and kids room environment for staff and patrons
* Follow Responsible Service of Gambling (RSG) and Club procedures
* Follow Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Club procedures
What we're looking for
* Commitment to following a work roster that includes days, nights, weekends
* Proven supervisory experience in the hospitality environment with the ability to lead and inspire a team
* Minimum 1–2 years of supervisory experience required
* A strong commitment to hygiene and safety in food service standards
* Excellent food, beverage and gaming service and presentation skills
* The ability to carry out duties in a timely and effective manner
* Proven ability to work well under pressure and multitask
* A strong track record of delivering outstanding customer service
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Food Safety Supervisor Certification, or willing to complete upon successful interview and pre‐employment checks for this role
* Federal Police Check required
* Working with Children Clearance (QLD Blue Card) – desirable
