Job type: Permanent Part-Time – 60 hours per fortnight, with a rotating roster across Monday to Sunday.

Step into a rewarding role as a Nursing Assistant where you will bring excellent customer‐facing skills and a genuine passion to deliver an exceptional service to our donors. You will support donors through their donation process. Full training is provided, and all you need is curiosity and motivation to learn the process of collecting blood and biological product.
Responsibilities
* Greet and interview potential donors to assess eligibility and suitability to donate.
* Create a donor experience they'll love and want to return for, including routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests.
* Set up machines and collections equipment.
* Insert and remove needles safely to collect whole blood, plasma, and platelets.
* Monitor donors post‐donation and assist with rebooking future donations.
* Work collaboratively to achieve collection targets.
Qualifications & Skills
No previous blood collection experience is required. Essential qualities include:
* Proven customer‐facing experience.
* Comfortable with needles and blood/biological materials.
* Occasional lifting of 9–22.7 kg.
* Strong team collaboration skills.
* Flexibility to work varied shifts on a fortnightly rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays, and afternoon shifts.
