About Our Client
Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, this role leads the development and delivery of Chisholm's CEO engagement strategy and strategic communications. It's a senior leadership position focused on high-level stakeholder engagement, government relations, and reputation-enhancing initiatives. Chisholm Institute is Victoria's leading public vocational education and training provider, with over 41,000 students across ten campuses. Job Description
* Coordinate and manage internal and external communications across multiple channels.
* Develop and implement strategic communications aligned with government and Institute priorities.
* Lead CEO engagement activities, including internal updates, roadshows and external communications.
* Provide high-level counsel on crisis management, media responses and executive positioning.
* Manage formal and corporate events involving government and executive stakeholders.
* Maintain strategic communications protocols and ensure brand consistency across all channels.
* Collaborate with the wider Communications team to drive alignment and engagement across the Institute.
The Successful Applicant
* Holds a degree in Communications or similar, with extensive senior-level experience.
* Skilled in government relations, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communications.
* Confident working with executives and coaching leaders in thought leadership and media engagement.
* Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities, with strong attention to detail.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and deliver high-impact initiatives.
* Experience in education, vocational training, or government sectors is highly desirable.
* Must hold a valid Working With Children Check and have unrestricted work rights in Australia.
