A great opportunity exists for a dynamic and motivated Japanese Speaking Supervisor to join H.I.S. Australia Pty Ltd on a Full Time basis in Cairns. H.I.S. As a Japanese Speaking Supervisor, you assist the Assistant Manager and Branch Manager overseeing branch operations, as well as handle customer inquiries and bookings for travel arrangements including, coach bookings, accommodation, day tours, car-hire, transfers; working over the telephone, on-line and face to face.
Responsibilities are, but not limited to:
* Supervise and motivate travel consultants, ensuring high performance and adherence to company standards.
* Maintain a strong focus on delivering outstanding customer experiences and resolving client issues promptly.
* Monitor and achieve sales goals, upsell travel packages, and implement promotional strategies
* Assist with complex travel arrangements, vendor negotiations, and itinerary planning for clients.
To be considered for the position, the candidate must have the following:
* Displays a kokoro odoru attitude — excited to guide staff and support the team
* Is interested in daily tasks and can keep the workplace running smoothly
* Communicates clearly and helps team members when needed
* Maintains a positive attitude, even during busy periods
* Can check, train, and support staff to meet company standards
* Has a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
* Is fluent in both English and Japanese
* Holds Australian Permanent Residency
