Job Overview
The Completions / QA Engineer will operate within a joint venture framework for e2x, responsible for coordinating all completions activities through to handover and project closeout for large‐scale transport infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Accountable for performance and delivery of engineering services to support project outcomes against agreed project budgets and schedules.
* Provide construction, pre‐commissioning and commissioning support to projects as required.
* Documentation audit: review all project documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
* Checklist creation: develop a detailed handover checklist covering all necessary documentation, tests, and operational guidelines.
* Meetings: organize meetings with key stakeholders, including operations, maintenance, and safety teams, to outline the handover process and address any concerns.
* Clarifications: resolve any outstanding issues or discrepancies in project documentation or completion activities.
* System testing: verify that all systems have been tested and commissioned according to specifications, addressing any issues promptly.
* Final inspections: conduct final inspections to ensure all installations align with design and client specifications.
* Manual compilation: compile and organize all operational and maintenance manuals, ensuring they are user‐friendly and accessible.
Experience & Qualifications
* Bachelor of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
* Demonstrated experience in completions activities on construction/infrastructure projects from execution through to handover and close‐out.
* Solid knowledge of construction, commissioning and completions processes, including QA documentation and systems completion.
