About The Role
Calvary Riverina are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Clinical Nurse Educator to join our perioperative team. This role is a part-time (FTE 0.6) position working across both our Main Theatre department and Surgicentre.
Your main duties will include:
- Planning and delivery of education, learning and development to the perioperative department
- Quality improvement and management
- Presenting and facilitating the development of junior clinical staff and students
- Promoting an environment that adheres to professional, perioperative and national standards
About You
- Demonstrated minimum of 3 years perioperative experience (anaesthetic/recovery nursing experience is desired)
- AHPRA Registration
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as both an independent and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Solid communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
- Demonstrated experience in education, learning and development
- Commitment to quality improvement and adhering to perioperative and national standards
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
