This is an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in wills, estates and family law while working closely with experienced practitioners in a supportive and collaborative environment. You will be mentored and entrusted with meaningful responsibility from the outset across a broad range of matters, including family provision, property and divorce.
About the Role
* Work directly with experienced lawyers across a range of wills, estates and family law matters;
* Draft wills, court documents and affidavits, and correspond with legal professionals;
* Attend Court with senior practitioners in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (FCFCOA);
* Communicate with clients;
* Conduct legal research and provide general administrative support.
About You
* A current practising certificate (or entitled to obtain one);
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel;
* Strong research, analytical and drafting skills;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* A high level of attention to detail and a conscientious approach to your work.
Previous experience in a law office environment is highly desirable; however, strong candidates without post-graduate experience will also be considered.
