Finance Officer Position Overview
Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Finance Officer to perform day-to-day activities for weekly and monthly accounts receivable and payable processing. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the completeness and integrity of financial information, while also providing excellent support to our accounting team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare regular supplier reconciliations to guarantee accurate financial records.
* Process accounts payable transactions and prepare payment batches in a timely manner.
* Code and record all bank account transactions, as well as perform journal entries as required.
* Support accounts receivable invoicing and assist with receipting across various software debtor accounts.
* Collaborate with the accounting team to prepare bank reconciliations and conduct audit sample testing.
Essential Qualifications:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in finance administration or accounts receivable.
* Strong understanding of complex accounts payable issues.
* High level of computer literacy and ability to learn new software.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders.
