About the Role
The Pastry Kitchen is a fast-paced environment where you will have the opportunity to create unforgettable dessert experiences that leave a lasting impression on every guest.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the assigned section as directed by the Sous Chef.
* Assist with fundamental cooking and food preparation tasks, maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
* Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workstations, adhering to company and statutory hygiene requirements.
Requirements
* Culinary School Graduate. Received apprenticeship training in Pastry or currently completing.
* Proficiency with diverse food preparation techniques and cooking equipment.
* Experience in food preparation, preferably in a café, hotels or high-volume setting, with strong communication skills and understanding of relevant liquor laws.
About You
You are passionate and creative, willing to share your skills and expertise in guiding and shaping those who are new to the pastry kitchen. With exceptional communication skills, you enjoy collaborating with colleagues and management as well as interacting with our customers.
Your role will be pivotal for the success of the Pastry Kitchen.
